Js 12:1Now these are the kings of the land whom the children of Israel struck and whose land they possessed across the Jordan toward the rising of the sun from the river Arnon to Mount Hermon and all the eastern Arabah:
Js 12:2Sihon the king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon and ruled from Aroer, which is on the edge of the river Arnon, and from the city in the middle of the river valley, that is, half of Gilead even unto the river Jabbok, the border of the children of Ammon;
Js 12:3And the eastern Arabah unto the Sea of Chinneroth, even unto the eastern side of the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, toward Beth-jeshimoth, that is, southward to the foot of the slopes of Pisgah;
Js 12:4And the territory of Og the king of Bashan, one of the remnant of the Rephaim, who dwelt in Ashtaroth and Edrei,
Js 12:5And ruled over Mount Hermon and Salecah and all Bashan to the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, that is, half of Gilead, to the border of Sihon the king of Heshbon.
Js 12:6Moses the servant of Jehovah and the children of Israel struck them. And Moses the servant of Jehovah gave this land as a possession to the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
Js 12:7And these are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the children of Israel struck across the Jordan on the west, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon unto Mount Halak, which goes up to Seir; and Joshua gave this land to the tribes of Israel as a possession according to their divisions,
Js 12:8The land that is in the hill country and in the lowland and in the Arabah and on the slopes and in the wilderness and in the Negev — the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites; the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
Js 12:9The king of Jericho, one; / The king of Ai, which is by Bethel, one;
Js 12:10The king of Jerusalem, one; / The king of Hebron, one;
Js 12:11The king of Jarmuth, one; / The king of Lachish, one;
Js 12:12The king of Eglon, one; / The king of Gezer, one;
Js 12:13The king of Debir, one; / The king of Geder, one;
Js 12:14The king of Hormah, one; / The king of Arad, one;
Js 12:15The king of Libnah, one; / The king of Adullam, one;
Js 12:16The king of Makkedah, one; / The king of Bethel, one;
Js 12:17The king of Tappuah, one; / The king of Hepher, one;
Js 12:18The king of Aphek, one; / The king of Lasharon, one;
Js 12:19The king of Madon, one; / The king of Hazor, one;
Js 12:20The king of Shimron-meron, one; / The king of Achshaph, one;
Js 12:21The king of Taanach, one; / The king of Megiddo, one;
Js 12:22The king of Kedesh, one; / The king of Jokneam in Carmel, one;
Js 12:23The king of Dor in the highland of Dor, one; / The king of Goiim of Gilgal, one;
Js 12:24The king of Tirzah, one. / Thirty-one kings in all.
